Kapolei Golf Course-Kapolei Hawaii

The Pacific Links Hawaii Championship Tour announced today that the Kapolei Golf Course will host the Championship golf game.

This is a new event, and since Pacific Links Hawaii actually owns the links at Kapolei it was an obvious decision to host the game there.  The golfers will be competing September 14-16.

Pacific Links Hawaii is very pleased to partner with the Champions Tour,” said Micah Kane, the Pacific Links Hawaii COO. “Hosting this tournament at our scenic Kapolei course falls in line with the company’s goal to elevate the quality of golf in Hawaii, while helping to build our Pacific Links Hawaii brand by showcasing Kapolei, promoting golf tourism and strengthening the local economy.”

Kapolei, which opened in 1995, formerly hosted the LPGA Tour’s Hawaiian Ladies Open from 1996-2001.

Greg Norman, who is an ambassador for Pacific Links Hawaii, is expected to headline the field.
