Hawaii Islands Vacation Reduced in Price; Book Now!

The good news is Hawaii wants you back: Hawaii islands vacations have decreased in popularity due to the poor economy, but if you’re a budget traveller with a few $ left for vacation, now is the time to book your package!

Until just last year it was hard to find any discount hawii vacation destinations, especially because of the hike in airfare travel due to the bankruptcies of the big Hawaiian airlines, Aloha and ATA. But since they shut down, all of the resorts and hotels have been hurting in the island chain. Now, every aspect of vacation travel in Hawaii is coming down in price as a result! The Hawaii hotels and resorts are slashing prices – as are the air carriers that are left still flying to Hawaii.

Alaska Airlines Begins Daily Flights from Seattle to Kona, Hawaii

I’m sure you’re wondering why a website about the sunniest vacation spot in the world features a picture of an airplane flying over a snow-covered, ice-capped mountain? Honolulu, Maui Among Top 10 2008 Christmas Vacation Destinations

Two popular vacation destinations in Hawaii have been named among the Orbitz top 10 Christmas Vacation destinations for 2008. Honolulu was ranked 4th, up from last year’s spot at 13, and Lahaina, on Maui, debuted on the list at 9th place.

Disney Hawaii Resort to Begin Construction on Nov 19, 2008

The Pacific Business News reported today that Disney has announced the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Disney Hawaii family resort will be held Nov. 19, 2008.
The formal Hawaiian blessing and groundbreaking will be held on the future resort’s 21 beautiful oceanfront acres at the Ko Olina Resort & Marina in West Oahu.
